What to do when the Pizza Craving Strikes!

Even though I’ve been cooking for a long time, one thing I haven’t mastered is working with yeast!

I always keep pita bread in the freezer for when the pizza craving strikes. The great thing about these pizzas, is that anything works ! If you don’t have pizza sauce, use spaghetti
sauce or salsa.

The toppings are endless: leftover bits of meat: meatloaf or meatballs, chicken, steak, hot dogs

I then look in the fridge for veggies that need using up. I also usually have green peppers in the freezer. These are bought from the reduced produce cart at the grocery store. This cart is where I also can get mushrooms, which I saute and freeze as well. The pizza is then topped with loss leader cheese, which I have grated and popped in the freezer. Bake and enjoy!

I don’t think I’ve made the same pizza twice.
