Dead fish WHAT????

Yep, I knitted dead fish hats for my three sons and one of my nephews for Christmas. I’m not the fastest knitter in the world by any means but they worked up pretty quickly and this is a great yarn stash project that uses up any amount of leftover colors so other than having to buy a set of double-point #7 needles (used a 40% off coupon at Joann’s to get them cheaper 
) these fish didn’t pull anything else out of my pocketbook!

My dad, the fisherman, has put in a request for his own dead-fish-hat and I have to admit that I could totally see myself ice fishing with my dead fish hat on, so I think I’ll be making one for myself.
