The Abominable Snowman in my Backyard!

Okay, so we live in CT where sightings of the famed Yeti have been slim to none but sure was the biggest footprint I’ve ever seen in these parts! 
Let me explain. We have a septic system. During the winter, the snow always melts from the top of it first simply because the heat generated by the breakdown of the waste rises up.
This year, the boys created pockets around the bare area of snow to keep the maple sap cold until I boiled it down. When winter’s grasp finally began to slip, the ‘pockets’ melted more quickly. I was up on the deck looking down on my kingdom and was shocked to see our giant footprint which made me laugh a bit and wonder when the Abominable Snowman had visited.
