Taco Seasoning Mix

2 teaspoons instant minced onion
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper
1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

Combine all ingredients. Place on a six inch square of aluminum foil and fold to seal edges. Just repeat recipe to make more Packages. One recipe is enough seasoning for one pound of hamburger. Because all of the ingredients are dry, you can store the mix packages on your kitchen shelf.

When you are ready to make tacos, brown one pound of hamburger with the taco mix. add to four warm taco shells that are each filled with shredded lettuce and a couple of tomato slices. Sprinkle grated cheese on the top of the meat in each taco shell.
